New for 2010: Music by the Nobles, Cocktail Attire and Various Food Stations

In 1999, Foundation members felt a need to come together in a non-tournament setting to continue to raise money for their service organizations throughout the year. Thus, the Golf Ball Gala was born! A spectacular black-tie affair, the evening starts with a silent auction, continues with dinner and a live auction and then concludes with dancing the night away to the music of a local New Orleans band.

After taking 2005 off due to Hurricane Katrina, the Golf Ball resumed on November 3, 2006 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside and generated more service organization money than ever before.  The 2008 Golf Ball, which was held on Friday, October 17th at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, picked up where the 2007 event left off.  The record-setting crowd enjoyed an evening filled with bidding on fabulous auction items, dancing to the upbeat tunes of local favorites, Top Cats, dining on scrumptious food prepared by the Hilton and helping the Foundation to achieve its goal of raising much-needed funds for the children's services organizations. 

Please join us for our 11th annual Golf Ball, scheduled for Friday, October 22nd, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, featuring music by the Nobles.  Don't miss your chance to bid on fabulous auction items from some of the finest restaurants, hotels, golf courses and specialty shops.  Each year, our Golf Ball has seen tremendous success, thanks largely in part to our wonderful co-chairs, Angele Seeling and Michelle Miller, as well as volunteers from the charities we support and, most importantly, people like you.
